Responsibilities For RDT&E Cloud Engineer

  • Interface with software developers to design, establish, and maintain infrastructure
  • Demonstrate new technologies and capabilities in the cloud
  • Perform software installations, patches, and upgrades
  • Monitor systems health
  • Troubleshoot interconnectivity issues
  • Implement security best practices
  • Optimize systems performance
  • Develop and maintain automated data back-up and recovery strategies
  • Provide software deployment support to multiple development teams
  • Create and maintain system documentation

Requirements For RDT&E Cloud Engineer

Python
Linux
  • 10+ years of experience in system engineering functions
  • AWS Certification
  • Network and Linux administration experience
  • Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Batch)
  • Experience with Docker container orchestration
  • Experience implementing AWS scalable architectures
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles
  • Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (Bash, Python)
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or related field
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
