Mobile Engineer, Android

Intercom is seeking a Mobile Engineer, Android to join their team and help shape and accelerate their mobile Messenger strategy. The role involves working on the Android Messenger SDK, which is integrated into thousands of Android apps and used by millions of users. As part of an autonomous team consisting of mobile engineers, product managers, designers, and full-stack web engineers, you'll own problems end-to-end for all mobile offerings at Intercom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on shaping mobile strategy and roadmap across all Intercom offerings
• Own problems end-to-end, working with cross-functional teams
• Make pragmatic tradeoffs while building for the long term
• Develop technical plans and contribute to technical architecture
• Build high-quality, well-tested, and reliable Android code

Required Skills:

• 3+ years experience building mobile products on Android
• Knowledge of Kotlin or Java, Android APIs, and design patterns
• Experience publishing apps in the Play Store
• Ability to collaborate with product teams and designers
