Distinguished Software Engineer

The Virtual Expert Platform (VEP) team at Intuit is seeking a Distinguished Software Engineer to lead the technological evolution of their Enterprise Mid-Market platform. This role is central to connecting customers with expert guidance across QuickBooks, TurboTax, Mailchimp, and Credit Karma products. The team runs a multi-billion-dollar Services business and owns the entire technology stack, from user interfaces to platform services.

As a Distinguished Engineer, you'll be responsible for defining technical strategy and architecture across human-assisted experiences, including first-party and third-party tools. You'll lead the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure platform architecture while building and inspiring high-performing engineering teams. The role requires deep expertise in AI/ML, including Generative AI, and strong knowledge of cloud computing and microservices architecture.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $291,000 to $415,000 depending on location, plus equity, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. You'll work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams across product, design, marketing, and operations to create seamless experiences for both users and experts.
