Description For Principal Product Manager

Mailchimp, a leading marketing platform for small businesses, is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead their Revenue Intelligence product initiative. The goal is to double the revenue of every business that chooses Intuit Mailchimp as their marketing platform. This role will be at the center of building experiences that automate the generation of marketing insights and actions, making sophisticated marketing strategies accessible to SMBs without the need for in-house expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and owning both high-level roadmap and detailed delivery plans of AI/ML services for Intuit Mailchimp
  • Designing data and AI strategy to power scalable learning systems
  • Interacting with customers to understand pain points and collect requirements
  • Using a data-driven product development approach
  • Managing prioritization of strategic features and capabilities
  • Leading cross-functional teams of architects, data scientists, designers, and engineers
  • Influencing key organization stakeholders and leading change
  • Mentoring and coaching aspiring product managers and accelerating AI adoption

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven expertise in launching ML/AI powered platforms
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • 5-7 years of Product Management experience in a top tech company, MarTech company, or innovative startup
  • Strong background in solutions related to learning or digital experiences
  • Excellent communication, execution, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus

This role offers the opportunity to work with vast data assets, including nearly 1 billion daily emails and 4.5 billion unique email addresses, to deliver unparalleled personalization capabilities for SMBs. The position will leverage Intuit's decade-long investment in AI to integrate advanced AI and machine learning algorithms into the Mailchimp platform.

Responsibilities For Principal Product Manager

  • Build and own both high level roadmap and detailed delivery plans of AI/ML services for Intuit Mailchimp spanning predictive and generative AI
  • Design the data and AI strategy to power scalable learning systems and deliver on objectives
  • Interact with customers across all business units and functional groups to understand pain points and collect requirements
  • Use a data/metrics driven product development approach; define success criteria for roadmap items and demonstrate measurable impact on those success metrics
  • Manage prioritization of strategic features and capabilities
  • Evangelize products throughout the company and across varying levels of organization
  • Lead cross-functional teams comprising of architects, data scientists, designers and engineers
  • Influence key organization stakeholders and lead change
  • Mentor and coach aspiring product managers and accelerate AI adoption
