Software Engineer 1

Intuit is seeking a Software Engineer 1 to join our team. You'll be taking risks and pushing boundaries, generating code that transforms how millions of consumers and small businesses manage their finances in cloud, platform, mobile, and SaaS environments. You'll engineer solutions to challenging and meaningful customer problems in a culture that embraces experimentation and rapid prototyping.

As a Software Engineer 1, you will:

• Work on core products and services or support critical functions of engineering operations
• Learn and apply best practices for designing, implementing, and supporting software projects
• Build effective working relationships with team members and contribute meaningfully
• Receive detailed instructions and mentoring from senior team members
• Have your work closely reviewed for correctness and completeness
• Learn innovation methods like Design 4 Delight and Lean Start-In

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Solid understanding of Agile development, object-oriented design, and programming languages
• Extensive programming experience with Go, Java, Python, or C++
• Knowledge of front-end web design and languages (HTML, JavaScript, XML, Flex, CSS)
• Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
