Software Development Engineer II (Backend) - Adtech

JioStar, a leading global media & entertainment powerhouse, is seeking a Software Development Engineer II (Backend) to join their Ad Platform team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of scale, reliability, and real-time decisioning, supporting live sports and premium entertainment for millions of users.

The Ad Platform team at JioStar is among the top video advertising platforms in India, with ambitious goals to build the most effective and scalable adtech ecosystem globally. As an SDE-II, you'll be responsible for designing and building high-performance services that power mission-critical ad delivery, targeting, and measurement systems across JioStar's platform.

The engineering team works across the full adtech stack, from high-throughput backend services to deeply integrated ad experiences on client platforms. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies and solving complex problems at scale. The role requires proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python, strong experience with distributed systems, and expertise in cloud platforms (preferably AWS).

This is a high-ownership, high-impact position where you'll collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of backend development experience and a strong focus on performance and reliability.
