JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer II to join their Cloud Success & Runtime Compute team within Commercial & Investment Banking. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on enhancing, designing, and delivering software components for the firm's state-of-the-art Cloud technology products.

As a Software Engineer II, you'll be part of an agile team focused on building secure, stable, and scalable cloud solutions. You'll execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within technical products and applications. This role provides excellent opportunities for growth and skill development in cloud technologies.

The position involves writing secure, high-quality code, working with modern programming languages like Python and Golang, and leveraging container technologies including Kubernetes. You'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from design to implementation and troubleshooting, while considering upstream and downstream system implications.

JPMorgan Chase offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $118,750-$150,000, plus potential for commission-based pay and discretionary incentive compensation.   • Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
  • Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of at least one programming language
  • Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems
  • Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain
  • Applies technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems
  • Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets
  • Learns and applies system processes, methodologies, and skills for secure code development
