Description For IT Engineer II

Jump is seeking a motivated IT Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will manage IT support functions and develop expertise in DevOps, with opportunities for hands-on growth in automation, security, and infrastructure management. As the primary IT contact, you will oversee key IT functions such as employee onboarding and offboarding as well as device and access management. You'll also help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the organization. As your skillset grows, you'll be involved in infrastructure maintenance, security auditing, and responding to support requests, providing a pathway to expand your skills in DevOps and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of team members
  • Oversee JAMF administration
  • Configure and manage Okta for access control
  • Support team members by troubleshooting IT issues
  • Develop DevOps skills and contribute to infrastructure maintenance
  • Support security audits and ensure compliance
  • Evaluate and monitor SaaS tools
  • Collaborate on security and data privacy compliance

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support/operations
  • Hands-on experience with JAMF
  • Okta administration expertise
  • Experience supporting remote employees
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be part of an on-call rotation

Nice to Haves:

  • Google Workspace administration
  • Apple Business Manager (ABM) experience
  • Security auditing skills
  • VPN Administration expertise
  • AWS exposure
  • Terraform experience
