Kahoot!, the world's leading game-based learning platform, is seeking a Mid-level QA engineer for their Drops team. This is a remote, full-time position perfect for someone passionate about contributing to a product used by millions worldwide.

Drops, acquired by Kahoot! in 2020, is an app dedicated to effective language learning through a gamified experience. Supporting 50+ languages and serving over 50 million users globally, Drops aims to be the top app for vocabulary learning.

As a QA engineer, you'll be involved in various aspects of the development process, including:

  • Learning and optimizing the deployment process
  • Manual testing across applications during sprint cycles
  • Supporting the development team in testing new builds and functionality
  • Advocating for quality through issue tracking in Jira
  • Pushing releases for the entire Drops catalogue
  • Documenting for traceability
  • Contributing to the wider QA roadmap
  • Collaborating with support to prioritize quality issues
  • Maintaining and supporting existing test automation efforts

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience in planning and executing testing for products and applications
  • Interest in UI test automation
  • Experience with issue tracking tools like Jira
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactiveness and a solutions-focused attitude
  • Experience writing documentation
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies

Bonus skills include experience with JavaScript, Cypress, UI Mobile Automation, and familiarity with cloud-based deployment and CI tools like AWS and Buildkite.
