Senior Backend Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, California, in a hybrid work environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build and scale large-scale systems using cloud-native approaches.

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Ketch, you'll be at the forefront of solving challenging problems in data privacy and security. Your primary responsibilities will include developing server-side components in Golang, co-owning our microservice architecture, and implementing robust data security and protection techniques. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand and implement end-to-end solutions for our enterprise customers.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in scalable distributed systems, experience with Golang (or similar languages like Java, Python, or Scala), and a deep understanding of domain-driven data modeling. Proficiency in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes is essential. We're looking for someone who is passionate about best practices, automation, and continuously improving developer experience.
