Samlink Mainframe Developer

Kyndryl, a global technology services company, is seeking a Samlink Mainframe Developer to join their Software Engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical systems at Samlink, a Kyndryl company. The position requires expertise in Mainframe technologies, particularly COBOL and JCL, with a focus on financial services applications like lending and payments.

As a Mainframe Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions that deliver immediate value to customers. The role involves working with design documentation, functional programming specifications, and ensuring proper documentation and testing of implemented components. You'll have the opportunity to architect solutions, test code, and handle deployments while providing work estimates and guidance on technical features.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in complex software projects, strong debugging and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Agile methodologies. Knowledge of financial systems is highly valued, and proficiency in both English and Finnish is preferred. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement at their offices in Espoo or Jyväskylä, Finland.
