Description For Software Engineer, Co-op - Clean Rooms

LiveRamp, the leading data connectivity platform, is offering an exciting 12-week co-op opportunity for aspiring software engineers to join their Clean Room Engineering team. This role provides an immersive learning experience where interns receive the same orientation training as full-time engineers, get matched with individual mentors, and start contributing to production code within their first week. The position focuses on backend microservice and big data engineering, working with billions of records and developing powerful web applications.

The successful candidate will be part of a team managing secure compute collaborations for major global brands, using technologies like Golang, Java, Big Data, Spark, and cloud platforms. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with distributed systems, workflow orchestration, and modern development practices. The company emphasizes a culture of learning, collaboration, and meaningful contribution to real-world projects.

LiveRamp's mission centers on connecting data meaningfully while prioritizing privacy and ethics. The company maintains a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging, with operations across nine countries and four continents. This internship offers not just technical growth but also exposure to industry-leading practices in data connectivity and privacy-conscious computing. Interns who perform well may be considered for full-time positions upon graduation.

The role combines practical engineering experience with mentorship and real responsibility, making it an ideal stepping stone for students looking to launch their careers in software engineering. You'll work in a startup-like environment that values smart, ethical, and proactive individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to meaningful projects.
