We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled full stack engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position where you will be integral to both the back-end and front-end development of our platform. You'll be developing, maintaining, and scaling our core web applications that interact with our forecasting models and serve our clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Ownership of the portal: Lead the development and management of our user portal, frontend, and backend. Serving as the primary interaction layer between our forecasting models and end-users.
- Scalability and optimization: Design, implement, and optimize portal scalability to handle increasing volumes of forecasting data.
- Feature development: Add new features to the front end, such as new visualizations or UX improvements.
- Security and maintenance: Ensure high-level security standards and best practices are applied across the platform, monitoring for vulnerabilities and implementing regular updates.
Technical skills:
- Back-end development:
- Proficient in Python for server-side development.
- Experience with Django or similar web frameworks.
- Experience with API monitoring and maintenance.
- Front-end development:
- Experience with React & basic Javascript.
- Experience with HTML, CSS.
- Devops and CI/CD:
- Understanding of DevOps best practices for software lifecycle management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (such as Github actions, ArgoCD).
Other qualifications:
- Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
- A keen interest in working in a fast-paced, innovative field like greentech.
- Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
