Senior Software Engineer - Test Engineering (Selenium)

Mediaocean is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Test Engineering (Selenium) to join their core test automation team. This role involves developing and maintaining automated tests (both API & UI) using existing frameworks, contributing to framework maintenance and enhancements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in test automation, strong skills in Selenium WebDriver with Java, and exposure to API testing.

As a Senior Software Engineer in Test Engineering, you will:

• Interact with cross-functional teams including developers, QAs, product managers, and DevOps.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for both API and UI using existing frameworks.
• Contribute to framework maintenance and enhancements.
• Collaborate with Dev/QA teams to clarify functional requirements and create test data.
• Participate in planning and delivery of new tests, supporting automated smoke tests and regressions.
• Report on test results and progress, and contribute to smoke management and regression result analysis.

The ideal candidate should have:

• 4-6 years of experience in test automation
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java
• Exposure to API testing or performance testing
• Strong Core Java programming skills and understanding of OOP concepts
• Knowledge of various test automation frameworks
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
