Description For Engineer - Scribe Design

Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking a Scribe Design Engineer to join their innovative team. This role is part of the Scribe Design Non-Array (SDNA) team, responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits for memory product development. The position offers an opportunity to work with a global team across India, Japan, and the US, focusing on CMOS electrical test structures that enable device development, compact modeling, and fab process monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in EDA tools, semiconductor device physics, and layout verification. Responsibilities For Engineer - Scribe Design

  • Design and analyze digital and analog circuits for memory products
  • Physical layout, floor planning and verification through DRC and in-house tools
  • Provide CMOS Test Structure design and layout solutions
  • Verify integrity of TEG design through LVS, DRC, E-simulation
  • Coordinate activities related to Scribe scheduling, design, improvement and Tape Out
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction with Scribe Teams service
  • Continuously improve accuracy and repeatability of structures
  • Use metrics and data to drive decisions and improve performance
  • Provide technical advice to senior management
  • Lead complex multi-disciplinary projects

Requirements For Engineer - Scribe Design

Linux
  • BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 5 years experience or ME/M.Tech with 3 years experience
  • Proficiency in EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso Layout and Schematic Editor, Calibre)
  • Strong understanding of micron memory process
  • Good project management skills
  • Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and DFM
  • Familiarity with Linux/UNIX system and scripting languages Python/Skill
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Layout and Verification skills in Cadence and Calibre
  • Demonstrated innovative problem-solving skills
