This role requires 10+ years of experience and focuses on developing and executing EM/IR analysis flows for ASIC design. The position involves working with cutting-edge technology nodes and requires expertise in power delivery network optimization, electrostatic discharge protection, and physical design implementation.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in EM/IR analysis, proficiency in scripting languages (TCL, Perl, Python), and experience with industry-standard Place and Route tools. They will be responsible for defining and implementing power grids, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in flow development.

Responsibilities For Principal Engineer HBM-SOC EM/IR
- Develop and execute EM/IR analysis flows at block and top levels of ASIC
- Define and implement power grids using industry-standard Place and Route tools
- Collaborate with package, power integrity, and other teams
- Drive innovation and improvements in flow development
- Perform Static and Dynamic IR Drop Analysis
- Conduct Power and Signal EM Analysis
- Optimize Power Delivery Network (PDN)
- Implement and verify ESD protection circuits
- Contribute to physical design implementation
- Create and improve automated flows for EM/IR analysis
Requirements For Principal Engineer HBM-SOC EM/IR
- Strong understanding of EM and IR analysis
- Proficiency in scripting languages (TCL, Perl, or Python)
- Experience with PnR tools like INNOVUS, Fusion Compiler
- Knowledge of PDN and power integrity
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with 5nm or lower technology nodes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with design verification and sign-off
