Data Solution Engineer

Microsoft is seeking a Data Solution Engineer to join their team in Beijing, China. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, focusing on helping customers implement Microsoft's data solutions. The position requires a deep understanding of data platforms, cloud technologies, and the ability to work directly with technical decision makers.

As a Data Solution Engineer, you'll be responsible for winning technical decisions from customers regarding Microsoft's technology adoption. You'll work within a virtual team to educate customers, demonstrate solutions, and achieve quarterly sales targets. The role requires maintaining deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based technologies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience, with strong knowledge of data platforms including Azure Databases, SQL DB, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL. You'll need to demonstrate executive presence, strong presentation skills, and the ability to create and implement Proof of Concepts and MVPs that lead to production deployments.
