Senior DDR Subsystem Verification Engineer

Microsoft Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is seeking a Senior DDR Subsystem Verification Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial in Microsoft's expanding Cloud Infrastructure, powering their "Intelligent Cloud" mission.

The position sits within the Compute Silicon and Manufacturing Organization (CSME) team, which is instrumental in defining and delivering operational measures of success for the Cobalt program through hardware manufacturing. CSME is at the forefront of innovation and application of AI to silicon development workflows.

As a Senior DDR Subsystem Verification Engineer, you will:

• Lead verification of memory controller IP and DDR subsystem integration with PHY
• Define verification strategies and test plans through collaboration with partner teams
• Develop verification environments and manage simulations for quality assurance
• Apply random-stimulus and coverage-based techniques
• Innovate in verification efficiency through methodologies or tools
• Apply generative AI solutions to verification work
• Coach and mentor team members

The role requires extensive experience in pre-silicon subsystem verification, particularly with DDR subsystems. You'll need deep understanding of JEDEC specifications, including mode registers, timing parameters, refresh operations, and various other technical aspects.
