Senior Fabric Design Engineer

Microsoft Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is seeking a Senior Fabric Design Engineer to join their team. This role is crucial in developing advanced components of the memory sub-system and managing complex coherent fabric designs.

The position is part of Microsoft's expanding Cloud Infrastructure team, responsible for powering Microsoft's "Intelligent Cloud" mission. SCHIE delivers core infrastructure and foundational technologies for over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Teams, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform globally.

As a Senior Fabric Design Engineer, you will:

• Own multiple blocks within complex, coherent fabric, and bridge IP
• Drive efficiency in integration and automation of highly configurable IPs
• Handle all aspects of the design flow including microarchitecture, RTL coding, and timing closure
• Collaborate with team members on interface definitions and design choices
• Work with verification teams on test plans and functional correctness
• Interface with various teams for performance optimization
