Senior FullStack Software Engineer - Microsoft Threat Protection

Microsoft 365 Defender suite leverages the Microsoft 365 security portfolio to automatically analyze threat data across domains, building a complete picture of each attack in a single dashboard. The team is looking for an experienced hands-on Senior Software Engineering manager to join their fast-growing team.

Role Overview:

• Develop cutting-edge detection and remediation systems
• Work with state-of-the-art cloud technologies, big data solutions, and AI at hyper-scale
• Create products for and with customers
• Focus on cyber security and making the world safer for millions of customers

Required Skills:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software and Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• 7+ years of professional experience as a full stack engineer
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS/LESS/SASS, and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)
• Excellent teamwork skills, effective in both independent and collaborative work
• Ability to learn and use new technologies
• Understanding of complex distributed systems

Desired Skills:

• Experience with databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB, Redis, Azure Data Explorer preferred)
• Background in data security and cloud-based applications
• Experience in Python/Django
• Deep understanding of HTTP and web fundamentals

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of advanced security solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the threat intelligence platform
• Implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure scalability and reliability
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
• Contribute to protecting customers from evolving cyber threats
