Description For UX/UI Front-End Engineer

Mistral AI is seeking a dynamic and experienced UX/UI Front-End Engineer to join their Tech team. This role is based in Paris and reports to the Head of Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing user-friendly interfaces for the website and Mistral AI applications, focusing on both aesthetics and functionality.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Product Designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements
  • Implementing responsive design principles for cross-device compatibility
  • Optimizing website performance and conducting usability testing
  • Staying current with the latest front-end development trends and technologies

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 3+ years of professional work experience
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proficiency in Front-End engineering (HTML, CSS, Javascript/Typescript, React is a plus)
  • Strong consumer and UX/UI sense
  • Experience with front-end optimization and performance
  • Proven experience in fast-paced or startup environments
  • Autonomous and self-starter profile
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
