Description For Electrochemical Engineer

Molten Industries is on a mission to decarbonize the world's transportation and heavy industrial sectors. As an Electrochemical Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in this effort by leading the design and build-out of electrochemical systems for graphite and hydrogen production. You'll be part of a small, dynamic team working to scale technology from pilot systems to industrial plants.

Your responsibilities will include prototyping, testing, and analyzing electrochemical systems, as well as leading the development and commercialization of technologies for refining, purification, and chemical transformation using electrochemistry. This role requires a strong background in chemical engineering, chemistry, or related fields, with hands-on experience in battery, electrolyzer, or fuel cell design and testing.

The ideal candidate will have 2-10+ years of experience, excellent fundamental engineering knowledge, and a track record of solving difficult chemical R&D and scale-up problems. You should be comfortable translating complex problems into achievable goals and have experience with large industrial products or chemical processing facilities.

Molten Industries offers a competitive salary, meaningful equity compensation, comprehensive health benefits, and a generous 401k matching program. Join us in pushing the final frontier of decarbonization and make a significant impact in the fight against climate change.
