Python Developer

Multiplica Talent, a consulting firm with 20 years of experience, is seeking a Python Developer to join their team. The role is based in Lima, Peru, and offers a full-time, on-site position.

The main objective of this role is to drive the technical aspect of Pricing Analytics, as the pricing part has been handled very strategically and focused on business until now. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and improving manual processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Grouping data depending on the process
• Optimizing data from manual operational processes
• Understanding and using Python at a technical level
• Comprehending the business and using data tools appropriately
• Proposing new ideas to improve and optimize relevant processes
• Maintaining orderly coding through the use of scripts
• Providing support to integrate pricing and data parts, and obtaining better business strategies

The ideal candidate should have:

• A university degree in Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Network and Communications Engineering, Telematics, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role with Python
• Proficiency in Python 3.8 or higher
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably GCP)
• Intermediate technical English for reading and writing code
• Experience with ETL, GitHub, and basic libraries like Numpy, Pandas, SQLAlchemy, and Pydantic
• Knowledge of databases such as SQL, MySQL, BigQuery, Postgres, or MariaDB
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming

Desirable skills include knowledge of Deep Learning (TensorFlow or PyTorch), Computer Vision, Apache Airflow, Unit Testing, and Power BI.
