Netflix, a global entertainment leader with 300M+ subscribers, is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for their Ads Delivery Management team. This role is part of the Ads Platform Engineering organization, which builds advertising systems powering ad delivery through Netflix's content ecosystem. The position focuses on developing the control plane for ad serving, working between advertisers and the Ad Server.

The role involves building applications for managing ad delivery, facilitating Live Event ads, and providing campaign performance insights. You'll work with cutting-edge technology combining client and server-side ad insertions, content delivery systems, and ad encoding. The team is crucial in Netflix's advertising journey, which launched in 2022 and continues to grow.

As an L6 Software Engineer, you'll collaborate across Netflix Engineering, influence solutions beyond ads, and help build unique value propositions in the Connected TV advertising space.   • Building applications to enable efficient creation, monitoring, and management of delivery objects in the ads ecosystem

Requirements For Software Engineer (L6), Ads Delivery Management

  • 7+ years of experience, 4+ years of experience in Ads domain
  • Broad knowledge of ad tech and advertising landscape, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing trends
  • Familiarity with the full campaign lifecycle - from pre-flight setup through to post-flight reporting
  • Familiarity with main aspects of campaign management including Audiences, Creatives, Measurement, Forecasting, Ad Serving, Reporting, Billing, and OMS
  • Experience with cloud-based applications and modern programming languages
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
