NISC's Platform & Infrastructure division is seeking top talent to support and administer their network infrastructure. As a Cloud Networking team member, you'll be part of a high-performing team focused on high availability, design, and ongoing operations for services provided to members. Key Responsibilities: • Create KPI dashboards for networking and application response time SLAs • Lead design and development of low latency networking infrastructure for distributed systems • Design and build hybrid cloud network topology using industry best practices • Lead design/build of containerized network topologies • Manage vendor relationships for internet connectivity • Advise on and resolve vulnerability best practices • Design and automate network component patching • Develop maintenance plans and establish best practices • Maintain knowledge base, documentation, and SOPs • Perform compliance audits • Manage cost control budget for public cloud resources • Participate in on-call support rotation
Requirements: • 8+ years of related experience preferred • Mastery of networking services/protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, ARP, NTP, SMTP, OSPF, BGP, VRRP, IPSEC, SNMP) • Experience with Palo Alto Networks, SonicWALL, Extreme Networks, Arista Networks, Trustgrid • Advanced knowledge of Linux, scalable networking design, containers, Docker, Kubernetes • Understanding of hybrid cloud and public cloud network topologies, AWS • Strong project management skills • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
