As a Senior Data Engineer at Nisum, you will face the following challenges:

• Development and maintenance of data transformation processes (including coding/solution correction)
• Design of data-oriented solutions (end-to-end) using market design patterns and best practices
• Ensure optimal use of resources in both cost and performance
• Enable non-functional requirements

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have the following knowledge and experience:

• Experience in solution architect or senior data engineer roles, designing data-intensive solutions (streaming, batch)
• Experience in modern data ingestion processes (data lake, data warehouse, lakehouse)
• Experience in application/process development in Python
• Experience in public cloud (at least 2 years). Knowledge of Azure
• Git proficiency

• Synapse
• Databricks
• Apache Parquet
