Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a new team member in Klazienaveen! Together with the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the maximum availability and reliability of the installations in our factory. You will achieve this by establishing and maintaining a preventive maintenance program based on statistical analyses and inspections, as well as providing advice on installations, maintenance systems, and CAPEX projects. You will work according to a continuous improvement process, legal standards, and defined standards, ensuring that these are correctly implemented. For this role, we are looking for someone who has gained experience in this field but is open to hands-on learning from experienced maintenance technicians on site.

What will you do?

• Establish a solid and preventive (long-term) maintenance program and set standards based on legal and Norit guidelines
• Set up KPIs and monitor them to determine, measure, and secure the realization of set maintenance objectives through PPO
• Facilitate the analysis of recurring technical failures and breakdowns, with the aim of identifying root causes: technology, behavior, organization (RCA department/discipline transcending)
• Report and analyze Cost Drivers (chain costs)/Performance losses at line or machine level, aimed at eliminating causes of maintenance sensitivity and deviations
• Initiate, facilitate, and advise improvement teams to increase installation performance and installation reliability
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians in the factory
• As a Reliability Engineer, ensure structural improvement by drawing up an annual plan of improvement projects, aligning the assignment formulation, carrying out research questions, and drawing up an action plan
• In consultation with the Technical Manager, set up KPIs and monitor these to measure the realization of set maintenance objectives
• As a Maintenance Engineer, advise on maintenance contracts such as lease, SLA, and 24-hour service, and conclude these contracts in consultation with the purchasing department
• As a Reliability Engineer, ensure the implementation of improvement processes and process these in CMS (capital management system) and JDE (ERP system)
