Description For HAM, IT Support Engineer

Okta is seeking a HAM, IT Support Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru, India. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive onboarding programs, leading projects to improve BT Onboarding, hardware, and systems, and providing high-level IT support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, deep understanding of Okta, Jamf, Intune, and other core offerings, and be comfortable assisting executives and high-profile users.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Resolving Level 1 to Level 3 tickets while ensuring excellent customer service
  • Being an SME in at least 5 "Core Pillars"
  • Providing 1:1 resolution steps and a white glove experience for complex issues
  • Documenting resolution steps and building documentation/resources
  • Managing inventory and assets
  • Mentoring junior technicians
  • Supporting audits and compliance initiatives

Technical skills required:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Windows and Mac OS
  • Okta Administration and Workflow creation
  • Working knowledge of Networking & Security
  • Ability to produce coherent documentation and RCAs

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical degree
  • Okta Certified Admin
  • Jamf 200
  • Apple Certified Support Professional
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security+
  • CCNA
