Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Olo, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling engineering teams across the organization, helping execute platform-wide initiatives to modernize and scale Olo's infrastructure footprint. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager for DevOps, you'll consult with diverse engineering teams to understand their challenges and architect efficient solutions supporting performance, stability, and developer velocity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Acting as a technical leader and mentor
• Handling workload autonomously
• Contributing to architectural discussions
• Leading large/complex projects
• Partnering with engineering teams to solve complex business problems
• Collaborating on platform improvements
• Implementing platform-wide standards and best practices
• Supporting security and compliance requests
• Building and maintaining internal environments and tools
• Participating in on-call rotation

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in software engineering, DevOps, or similar role
• 1+ years in a hands-on technical leadership role
• Proficiency with containerization, cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, monitoring tools, databases, and data streaming technologies
• Experience with security best practices and compliance processes
