Program Manager, Human Data

OpenAI's Human Data Team creates custom data solutions that drive groundbreaking research. This role is critical in aligning AI by ensuring researchers understand the content and quality of human data input to models, raising the bar on data quality and efficiency, creating clear understanding for vendors and AI trainers, and maintaining operational rigor.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with external vendors and internal researchers to collect, review, and deliver high-quality data
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to initiate new data collection projects
• Assessing labeled data and providing feedback to AI trainers
• Optimizing processes for quality, throughput, and AI trainer experience
• Enabling agile project execution based on changing research requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Clear communication skills
• Experience in managing data labeling operations
• Ability to analyze data and identify edge cases
• Proficiency with internal tools, SQL, or spreadsheets
• Teaching experience
• Adaptability to various project domains
• Action-oriented and curious mindset
