Within the Oracle Health portfolio, i.s.h.med is a leading EHR platform with an installed base in 36 countries and more than 400,000 daily users. The Interoperability Team focuses on developing a robust API platform for i.s.h.med based on the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) standard.

You will be part of a motivated and diverse team and receive the greatest possible freedom and support. We work in a highly collaborative environment that spans multiple development offices across Europe. It is a dynamic and flexible environment where you will be challenged and supported.

We are looking for Back-End Engineers for the i.s.h.med Interoperability team to further develop the platform. You should have experience in designing important product features and introducing them into production. You are used to working independently, are technically proficient, and have extensive expertise in the entire software development lifecycle: designing, writing, testing, and reviewing code.

Responsibilities include designing important product features and introducing them into production, working independently, and designing, writing, testing, and reviewing code. The role requires a completed degree in Computer Science, IT, or comparable education, several years of experience in Java-based software development, and experience with Agile methodologies, Clean Code principles, and DevOps.

Java
  • Completed degree (Bachelor's, Master's, Diploma) in Computer Science, IT or comparable education or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Several years of experience in software development based on Java
  • Experience with Agile software development methods, Clean Code principles, code management, build processes, DevOps
  • Fluent German and good English skills
  • Software development for cloud, handling and creation of REST APIs (desirable)
  • Test automation (desirable)
  • Ability to understand, create and represent technical structures (written as white papers or design specifications or verbally) (desirable)
