Middle Tier & Database Administrator (NIGHT SHIFT: 3x12 or 4x10) – REMOTE OPTION - Oracle Saas Operations Engineering US Government

Oracle Saas Operations Engineering US Government team is seeking self-motivated individuals and team players to join their global team working with cutting-edge Oracle Cloud technologies. This role involves delivering strategic technical support and solutions to US Government agencies and contractors using Oracle's Cloud Services on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operational activities such as monitoring, installation, patching, and upgrading Oracle Fusion applications/middleware and Oracle database implementations
• Addressing complex, critical customer system issues and documenting technical solutions
• Working full-time night shifts on weekdays and weekends (either 4x10 hour shifts or 3x12 hour shifts)
• Remote work, connecting to customer systems (no travel required)

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
• Experience in areas such as Weblogic Application Server, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle RDBMS, Software Development, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C, C++)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in middleware and/or database areas
• Excellent communication skills
• US citizenship (by birth or naturalization) due to government contractor requirements
• Ability to obtain government security clearance
