Oracle Autonomous Health Framework (AHF) Insights is seeking an ML Engineer to join their team. AHF Insights is a central console providing a bird's eye view of the entire system from a diagnostic perspective. It showcases data from AHF and correlates various dimensions of diagnostics to provide root cause analysis using machine learning and statistical techniques. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing machine learning-based solutions and algorithms to categorize different defects of Oracle software running in a distributed/parallel environment. Key responsibilities include owning the development of machine learning algorithms, improving accuracy and runtime of existing algorithms, developing necessary infrastructure, and creating a feedback system to improve feature selection. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in computer science, proficiency in Python and web frameworks, and experience with distributed systems and database operations. Familiarity with NLP, Neural Networks, and Oracle database internals is preferred.
Responsibilities For ML Engineer AHF Insights
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
- Provide technical leadership to other software developers
- Specify, design, and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs
- Implement machine learning-based solutions and algorithms
- Improve the accuracy of existing algorithms
- Broaden existing algorithms to work well with various Oracle products
- Improve the run-time of existing algorithms
- Develop and maintain necessary infrastructure to run and maintain the algorithms
- Develop a feedback system to improve the selection of features for the algorithms
Requirements For ML Engineer AHF Insights
- BS/MS/PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, applied math or related field
- Proficiency with algorithms and data structures
- Proficiency with distributed systems
- Proficiency with coding in Python and Web Frameworks
- Proficiency with basic database schema management and operation
- Familiarity with code development in PL/SQL, C, C++, Java, Perl (at least 1)
- 3+ years of work experience in software development
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to be a team player
- Strong analytical skills and an independent thinker
