Description For Network Developer (Join OCI-NS2)

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a reliability engineering focused Network Developer to join their National Security Region (ONSR) Operations group. This role supports the operations, scaling, and reliability engineering of a large-scale global Oracle cloud computing environment. The position focuses on development and support of network fabric and systems, requiring deep understanding of networking protocols combined with programming skills for automation.

The role involves working with a global cloud-based network infrastructure that includes hundreds of thousands of network devices supporting millions of servers. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in network automation, performing deep root cause analysis, and building or scaling greenfield environments. Key technical requirements include familiarity with software engineering, NETCONF, Linux, routing protocols (BGP, MPLS, OSPF, IS-IS), and network security engineering aligned with NIST and DISA frameworks.

This is an excellent opportunity for a network professional who enjoys working with cutting-edge cloud technology and wants to make an impact on a global scale. The position offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the chance to work with one of the world's leading cloud solution providers. The role requires an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph, making it ideal for those with existing clearance looking to apply their skills in a critical infrastructure environment.

Oracle provides a robust benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and various other perks. The company promotes work-life balance and offers opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
