Principal Cloud Engineer, Technology, China

Oracle is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to join their Technology team in China. This role partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. The position focuses on driving Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.

The ideal candidate will engage with strategic customers, building leadership relationships at multiple levels to design and implement solutions. They will gather requirements, develop architectures, and translate business needs into solutions. The role may involve implementing solutions through code development and scripting, and ensuring successful deployments via resource configuration, planning, and customer education.

Key responsibilities include creating technical assets like white papers and solution code, serving as a leading contributor for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions, and identifying gaps to influence engineering roadmaps. The work is non-routine and complex, requiring advanced technical skills and potential interaction with C-level executives.
