Principal Cloud Engineer, Technology, China

Oracle is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to join their Technology team in China. This role partners with customers, sales, engineering and product teams to design, demonstrate and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. The position focuses on driving Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of cloud services including discovery, design and deployment.

The ideal candidate will engage with strategic customers, building leadership relationships at multiple levels to design and implement solutions. They will gather requirements, develop architectures, and translate business needs into solutions. The role may involve code development and scripting for successful deployments.

Key responsibilities include delivering customized presentations and demonstrations, supporting customers from POC through production deployment, creating technical assets, and serving as a leading contributor for technical cloud solutions. The position requires maintaining expertise in emerging technologies and may involve C-level interactions.

This is a senior technical role (IC4 level) involving non-routine and complex work, requiring advanced technical and business skills. The position requires 10+ years of experience and Mandarin Chinese language skills. The successful candidate will help shape engineering roadmaps and mentor others while working at one of the world's leading cloud technology companies.
