Description For Senior Project Manager - Insurance Domain

Oracle is seeking a Senior Project Manager for their Insurance Domain. This intermediate consulting position operates independently with some assistance to provide quality work products to project teams or customers, complying with Oracle methodologies and practices. The role involves implementing Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing configuration development and release management for the Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) system
  • Bringing fresh perspectives and creative ideas to OIPA implementations
  • Implementing and improving DevOps mechanisms during project implementations
  • Collaborating with configuration teams, technical teams, and business analysts
  • Establishing best practices for OIPA configuration
  • Developing and presenting OIPA demos
  • Conducting technical implementation case studies and white papers

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience working with the OIPA platform
  • Strong knowledge of OIPA, Rules Palette (10.0 and above versions)
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Experience in DevOps implementation for OIPA or equivalent packaged software solutions
  • Hands-on experience with XML, XSD, PL/SQL, and Oracle databases
  • Insurance domain experience (Life & Annuity)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Requirements For Senior Project Manager - Insurance Domain

Java
  • 2-10 years of experience working with the OIPA platform and/or equivalent job experience
  • Product Knowledge on OIPA, Rules Palette (10.0 and Above versions)
  • Strong customer interaction skills
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of standard n-tier systems architecture
  • Experience in implementing DevOps for OIPA or equivalent packaged software solution
  • Hands-on experience on XML and XSD creation
  • Working knowledge of Oracle database and data warehouses
  • Programming work experience in PL/SQL
  • Experience in Waterfall and agile implementation methodologies
  • Insurance domain experience (Life & Annuity)
  • Ability to Configure OIPA rules using Rules Palette
  • Strong knowledge of XML and SQL
  • Graduate degree focused on Computer Science, Software Engineering or Systems Engineering
