Senior SRE Engineer

Oracle is seeking a Senior SRE Engineer to join their team. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on operational, development, DevOps or SRE experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with production operations, deploying quality code, and troubleshooting issues in a highly available product or service offering.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and supporting SRE framework and automation
• Developing metric collection of failure events and analytics
• Analyzing failure events and identifying issues across infrastructure layers, service stack, and application components
• Providing recommendations to improve product development
• Supporting components for Cloud infrastructure and other Dev Test and System Test infrastructure
• Providing best practices on frameworks, automation, and methodologies

Required skills include experience with containerized, microservice-based applications in Kubernetes environments, cloud-native administration and monitoring technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, scripting languages, and version control using Git.
