Responsibilities For Data Protection Engineer

  • Develop and implement data protection solutions across various platforms (cloud, inline, on-prem, agent, and web)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and develop detection rules
  • Utilize Splunk for monitoring, metrics, and logging to identify potential threats
  • Continuously improve data protection processes and tools
  • Deploy detection rules and develop new detections

Requirements For Data Protection Engineer

Linux
  • 6+ years of proven experience in developing and implementing data protection solutions
  • Strong knowledge of data protection tools (Splunk, AWS Macie, Zscaler, Demisto)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Experience in DLP within LLMs and GenAI
  • CISSP certification (preferred)
  • Proactive and innovative mindset
