Description For Senior Software Engineering Manager

Protect AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to join their growing Engineering team. The role involves leading a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, and driving the development of cutting-edge products. The manager will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and the CTO to ensure the successful delivery of the Protect AI Platform.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading and managing a team of software engineers
Collaborating with cross-functional teams
Driving DevSecOps best practices
Contributing to the technical vision and roadmap
Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software
Managing team performance and professional development

Qualifications:

6+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years in management
Strong technical background in cloud-native infrastructure and Kubernetes
Expertise in modern programming languages (Python, Go, Java, TypeScript)
Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision making
Experience with ML/MLOps and AppSec is a plus
