Qode is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, working in a hybrid setup. This position is for their client in the business travel industry. The role focuses on building and implementing new products that help customers manage their work-life balance efficiently and sustainably. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of customer needs and external partnerships, collaborating closely with product management and UX/UI teams. The position involves extensive work with AWS cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and various DevOps tools. The role requires strong technical expertise in cloud technologies, containerization, and modern software architecture patterns. Responsibilities For DevOps Engineer
- Be part of a team to develop and deploy Backend applications on AWS cloud architecture
- Define and manage cloud infrastructure as code (IAC)
- Improve CI/CD pipeline
- Ensure scalability and availability of the system
- Build a monitoring stack
- Automate build, configuration, and deployment orchestration scripts
- Improve speed, efficiency, and scalability of all systems
- Monitor, troubleshoot and manage all environments
- Work with engineering team and take architectural decisions
Requirements For DevOps Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in IT technology or related field
- Understanding and experience with AWS: Account administration, Billing, IAM users/roles
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation or SAM
- Orchestration of containerized apps with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD processes in GitLab
- Experience and understand software architecture concepts: Serverless, Microservices, Event driven architectures, RESTful API/SOAP, CDN
- Understanding and experience with networking: Load balancers, TCP, UDP
- Experience with source control
- Proactive and self-driven
