Description For Engineer

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking an Engineer for their Engineering Group, specifically in Software Engineering. The role requires strong expertise in C++ and embedded software development. The ideal candidate will work with software, hardware, and systems teams to develop and support compliant and optimized DirectX/OpenGLES/Vulkan drivers for 3D graphics in compute & mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop embedded software for 3D graphics in compute & mobile devices
  • Work on implementing and supporting Graphics drivers for standards like OpenGL and Direct3D
  • Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong expertise in C++
  • 3-6 years of experience in Embedded SW systems
  • Experience with C++ programming language
  • Knowledge of RTOS (Real Time Operation Systems)
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Prior development experience in implementing/supporting Graphics driver for standards (OpenGL, Direct3D) is optional but beneficial
