PDK/CAD Design Automation Engineer, Senior

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Senior PDK/CAD Design Automation Engineer to join their Global Design Enablement team in Bangalore. This role represents a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of hardware engineering and software development, focusing on PDK development across Custom, Analog and RF technology nodes.

The position requires a strong technical foundation in both electrical engineering and software development, with the successful candidate working on developing and supporting customized tools and flows for Schematic & Layout design, Circuit Simulation, and IP characterization. You'll be collaborating with Custom, Analog & RF Engineering design teams while also working closely with Foundry and EDA partners to implement cutting-edge tools and workflows.

This is an ideal role for someone with 2+ years of experience in CAD or PDK development, who has a solid understanding of CMOS fundamentals and circuit design concepts, combined with programming expertise in languages like Python, Perl, and TCL.
