Senior Engineer- Machine Learning

Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Engineer in Machine Learning for their Hyderabad office. This role focuses on solving complex problems in the fingerprint domain, requiring expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and signal processing. The successful candidate will develop machine learning algorithms for fingerprint classification and interact with multiple teams, including software, algorithms, and tools teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing machine learning algorithms for fingerprint classification
• Collaborating with software, algorithms, and tools teams
• Contributing to innovation through patents and publications

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience (or Master's with 1+ year, or PhD)
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning
• Full mastery in Python
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch/TensorFlow
• Proficiency in NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn
• Knowledge of C coding
• Strong communication skills for effective cooperation with a global development team
• Proven innovation track record (patents, publications, etc.)

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree
• Experience in signal processing or image processing
