Sr Staff Field Application Engineer (IE-IOT)

Qualcomm is seeking a Sr Staff Field Application Engineer to join their IE-IOT team in Taiwan. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, focusing on supporting customers with Qualcomm's cutting-edge AI, machine learning, computer vision, security, and wireless technologies in the IoT space.

The position requires deep expertise in embedded systems and familiarity with various operating systems including Android, Linux, Ubuntu, and Windows. The successful candidate will work with highly motivated engineers and industrial players in the Taiwan region, designing and developing system on modules and products based on Qualcomm's IoT-focused SoCs.

Key responsibilities include supporting Qualcomm's IE-IOT market development strategy, assisting in device evaluation and PoC through technical engagement, helping stakeholders port applications on Qualcomm SoC systems, and providing technical training to customers. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in the Industrial and Embedded IOT field, along with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. They should be proficient in embedded systems, have a solid understanding of computer system architecture, and demonstrate excellent English communication skills.
