Validation - Engineer

Qualcomm Chennai is looking for VLSI engineers who are passionate about working with cross-functional engineering teams. In this position, the engineer will be involved in all stages of the design and development cycles.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

• 1-3 years of related experience in SoC pre/post silicon validation
• ARM/Microprocessor based System-On-Chip Pre-Silicon emulation and Post-Silicon experience
• ASIC Validation experience related to board bring up and debug
• Knowledge of Peripherals – USB/PCIE/I2C/SPI/Ethernet etc
• Perform system level validation and debug
• Debug experience with Lauterbach Trace32 environment
• Experience with test equipment like Logic analyzer, Oscilloscope and Protocol analyzers
• Embedded software development of low level hardware drivers in C language
• Working experience related to one or more of the following: ARM/DSP Processors/USB/PCIE, Ethernet

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience preferred
