Data Engineer

Rapsodo, a leading Sports Technology company, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role focuses on building high-performance, scalable data pipelines that drive real-time insights for sports analytics products. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cloud technologies and build scalable data systems that power real-time analytics used by athletes from youth to professional levels.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be part of a newly formed data team shaping the future of sports technology. You'll work with various technologies including PostgreSQL, Google BigQuery, Airbyte, Airflow, and Apache Superset. The role requires both independent problem-solving skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and drive business impact.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in data engineering, strong SQL and Python skills, and experience with Google Cloud Platform. You'll be responsible for designing and maintaining ETL pipelines, optimizing database performance, and developing dashboards for data visualization.
