Principal Digital Factory Developer IV

RTX (Raytheon Technologies) is seeking a Principal Digital Factory Developer IV to join their Industry 4.0 - Smart Digital Factory and Automation (SDF&A) team. This role combines software engineering with industrial automation, focusing on developing advanced IIoT/Industry 4.0 technologies using Ignition SCADA. The position requires expertise in both software development and manufacturing systems integration.

The role involves leading projects in industrial automation, working with sensors, gateways, and data analytics platforms. You'll be responsible for connecting manufacturing equipment to IIoT networks, implementing communication protocols, and developing sophisticated data visualization solutions. The position requires strong technical skills in Python, SQL, and web technologies, combined with knowledge of industrial protocols and manufacturing systems.

As a Principal Developer, you'll work closely with digital factory engineering teams, chief engineers, and factory leadership to drive innovation in manufacturing processes.
