Responsibilities For Security Threat Detection Engineer, PMTS
- Understand current data pipelines and datasets to develop innovative solutions for analyzing and identifying outliers and patterns
- Organize and query datasets to support detection engineering projects
- Develop and roll out innovative signals across customer workspaces to identify anomalous behavior
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams on security-specific in-product feature development
- Develop and maintain internal tools and solutions for detection engineering efforts
Requirements For Security Threat Detection Engineer, PMTS
- Strong experience in Information Security centric roles
- Ability to envision Security Incident scenarios and develop detections
- Experience querying large amounts of data to investigate anomalous activity
- Experience with Threat Actor Tactics, Techniques & Procedures (TTPs)
- Background in Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR), Threat Detection and/or Threat Hunting
- Expertise in Python or Go programming languages
- Ability to write efficient SQL queries
