They provide innovative identity and risk solutions through real-time APIs that have verified hundreds of millions of identities.
The role involves owning and developing critical data infrastructure components that power SentiLink's fraud detection products. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work with various teams to build, enhance, and modify the data platform. The position requires expertise in Python, Golang, and various AWS technologies, including PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redshift, and EMR.
Key responsibilities include building scalable data infrastructure, developing ETL/ELT pipelines, maintaining data quality standards, and optimizing data storage solutions. You'll also mentor junior engineers and participate in innovation initiatives through hackathons and proof of concepts.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of relevant experience, strong programming skills in Python or Golang, and extensive knowledge of distributed data processing technologies. Experience with cloud platforms, database technologies, and containerization is essential. The position offers competitive compensation ($165,000-$230,000/year plus equity) and comprehensive benefits including health insurance and 401(k) matching.

Responsibilities For Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform
- Build, expand, and optimize data infrastructure to create the most accurate dataset of identities and relationships
- Develop and operate secure, scalable, and reliable data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Design and maintain a data observability framework
- Optimize data storage layer and build/maintain interfaces
- Collaborate with product teams supporting their data platform needs
- Participate in call rotation for production issues
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
- Drive innovation through hackathons and proof of concepts
- Develop functional subject matter expertise in identity fraud domain
Requirements For Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering or related field
- Proficient in python or golang and related technologies and frameworks
- Expertise in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines at scale
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or GCP
- Deep understanding of different database technologies
- Experience building enterprise grade, scalable, containerized data services
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code and devops practices
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Self organized and ability to work independently
- Experience working in a scrum / Agile development environment
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
